About Us

HOSA's mission is to empower HOSA-Future Health Professionals to become leaders in the global health community, through education, collaboration, and experience. HOSA actively promotes career opportunities in the health industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people.

The HOSA chapter at Boise State University is proud to be one of only four post-secondary/collegiate HOSA chapters in the state of Idaho.  We are committed to advancing the future of healthcare in Idaho by offering our members opportunities in networking, leadership, and competition. BSU HOSA affiliated members span academic majors from Health Studies to Kinesiology/Athletic Training, and Nursing. Our members are passionate about improving the health and well-being of Idahoans, and we’re excited to represent the Gem State in the broader HOSA community!

Idaho HOSA State Leadership Conference

The HOSA chapter at Boise State University has 14 members traveling to Pocatello, ID in March to compete at the Idaho State Leadership Conference. As a first year chapter we are very excited to for our members to demonstrate their skills/knowledge, as well as be able to network with healthcare professionals. We know Boise State HOSA will leave their mark this year at the 2025 Idaho HOSA State Leadership Conference.

Faculty Advisor

Camille Stover earned her Bachelors of Science in Respiratory Care from Boise State in 2014 and a Master of Education Technology from Boise State in 2018. Camille joined the department in 2017 as a Graduate Assistant and joined the department full time in 2019 as a Clinical Assistant Professor. As of 2021 Camille is now the On Campus Program Director.
