The Korean Club and the Korean Program in the Department of World Languages are hosting a Korean Calligraphy Event to celebrate Hangeul Day on October 9th. Hangeul, the Korean writing system, was created by King Sejong the Great in 1443 to help the common people freely express their thoughts and ideas. The Hwarang Youth Foundation, Boise Chapter, is sponsoring this event by providing instruction and materials for all participants. Everyone can take home their own calligraphy artwork!
