The Andrus Center for Public Policy at Boise State University and the James A. and Louise McClure Center for Public Policy Research at the University of Idaho will partner on a one-day Collaboration Summit on April 22, 2026. This event will focus on how Idaho communities are working together to respond to wildland fire.

This interactive gathering brings collaboration practitioners and community leaders together to set the stage for meaningful engagement. Speakers will share real-world successes and challenges from wildfire preparation to long-term ecosystem resilience on fire-prone landscapes. Sessions will draw on perspectives from communities government industry and current research to explore practical approaches that work on the ground. Designed for people from across Idaho and the West, the summit creates space for learning connection and conversation. Intentional time for networking will allow participants to exchange ideas, build relationships and tap into the collective wisdom in the room. *CLE Credit information coming soon.
