Why You Should Attend

  • Improve your interviewing skills: Participate in one-on-one mock interviews with a wide array of industry interviewers. You'll give your answers live, just as you would in a real interview.
  • Receive personalized feedback: After you respond, we'll provide immediate, constructive feedback. We focus on both what you say and how you say it.
  • Connect with industry professionals: Experience interviewing with folks across industries, creating space to learn more about their work and what they look for in interview spaces.

Preparation & Resources

  • Format: This workshop utilizes a rotational format for maximum practice time. You will be seated directly across from a professional recruiter or a member of COBE Career Services in the Imagination Lab.
  • Faculty partnerships: We're working with capstone classes and providing resources to faculty, encouraging them to share interview tips and best practices in class ahead of the workshop.
  • Takeaway handout: All attendees will receive a feedback form and a comprehensive handout with essential tips for a successful interview.

Who Should Attend

This workshop is strongly encouraged for upper-division students, though all COBE students —especially those preparing for job or internship interviews — are encouraged to attend.
