Looking for ways to make learning more applied and engaging for students? Community-engaged projects and service-learning are flexible forms of experiential learning that connect course learning with authentic community needs.

In this interactive Zoom workshop, you'll explore examples from a variety of disciplines, learn key design principles, and consider approaches that fit your course goals and capacity. Whether you're making small adjustments or planning a larger course redesign, you'll leave with practical ideas, tools, and support to get started.

After participating in this workshop, you will be able to:

- Explain how community-engaged experiential learning can support student learning, engagement, and career preparation.
- Identify community-engaged project models that align with your course goals, discipline, and capacity.
- Recognize key design elements that contribute to meaningful student and community outcomes.
- Access comprehensive staff support for planning and implemention.

After registering for a remote workshop, you will receive a confirmation email of your registration that includes the workshop link. Please save this message. Also, you will have the option to add the event, which includes the Zoom link for the workshop, to your Google calendar.
