Our courses – whether face-to-face, online, or hybrid – can be relationship-rich environments that enhance learning, motivation, and belonging for all students. This interactive workshop will share strategies for creating opportunities for student to create peer relationships and will help participants to identify ways of connecting with their students.
While the workshop is designed with adjunct faculty in mind (particularly those interested in enhancing their teaching practices and building connections with peers) all instructors are welcome to attend.
After this workshop you will be able to:
- discuss the importance of relationship-rich environments to enhance learning, motivation, and belonging for all students
- identify strategies for creating opportunities for student to create peer relationships
- list ways of connecting with your students

After registering for a remote workshop, you will receive a confirmation email of your registration that includes the workshop link. Please save this message. Also, you will have the option to add the event, which includes the Zoom link for the workshop, to your Google calendar.
