Adjunct Teaching Toolkit: Active Learning Through Gamification (ZOOM)

Boise State’s new Assessment of Faculty Teaching policy requires all instructors (including adjunct faculty) to be evaluated based on their teaching effectiveness and practices. While the details of this evaluation process are still being finalized, this workshop will help you prepare for teaching assessments and support your professional growth. Participants will identify areas for improvement and develop a plan for collecting evidence of effective instruction and ongoing development.
While the workshop is designed with adjunct faculty in mind (particularly those interested in enhancing their teaching practices and building connections with peers) all instructors are welcome to attend.
After this workshop you will be able to:
- Reflect on your personal journey as an educator, as well as areas to improve and grow
- Identify professional development opportunities for adjunct faculty at Boise State
- Create a plan for collecting evidence of effective teaching and instructor growth
