Do students in your courses complete problem sets or other similar assignments (e.g., those that don’t have a template, may potentially be handwritten, and which require careful attention when grading)? Is the grading of work in your course completed by multiple people such that consistency in grading is key and/or sharing the students’ assignments makes it logistically difficult? If so, your course might benefit from the use of Gradescope, an assignment submission and feedback platform that integrates with Canvas. During this workshop, we’ll explore how your current grading process works and identify if there are opportunities to improve it. After this introduction to Gradescope, if you'd like to take the next step in learning about how to use Gradescope in your course, you can attend a follow up session hosted by Learning Technologies Solutions.

At the end of the workshop, you will be able to:
– reflect on your current process for grading problem sets
– identify opportunities for improving your grading process
– describe how Gradescope enables “best practices” for grading

After registering for a remote workshop, you will receive a confirmation email of your registration that includes the workshop link. Please save this message. Also, you will have the option to add the event, which includes the Zoom link for the workshop, to your Google calendar.
