This 1-week asynchronous Canvas course will introduce participants to affordable learning materials and open educational resources. Participants will consider how affordable learning materials offer an opportunity to rethink their courses around students' needs and explore avenues to pursue this. All coursework must be completed by April 3rd at 11:59 pm.
After participating in this course, you will be able to:
-Explain how the cost of course materials affects student success in a course.
-Describe the difference between Affordable Learning Materials (ALM), Open Educational Resources (OER), and Library-licensed materials.
-Create an affordable learning materials plan in the context of an active, collaborative approach to teaching and learning.
This will be facilitated via Canvas
