Are you interested in experiential learning and community engagement? Then come learn about Service-Learning (SL) – a type of experiential learning in which students apply course concepts to a community need, engage with a community organization, and learn by doing. In this session we will share examples, scenarios, and steps to success, as well as tools and tips that are relevant to all forms of experiential learning. After participating in this workshop, you be able to:

- Describe how SL could benefit you & your students
- Explore different types of SL that fit your course
- Employ the four steps of the experiential learning cycle
- Access staff support to plan SL for your course

If you cannot attend, contact KaraBrascia@boisestate.edu; she'll schedule a pop-up workshop for you!
