Spend up to 30 minutes directly with Becky Shufelt, Executive Director of Life in the Wildlands. You can bring a resume if you would like, ask any questions you have, or discuss your options and choices.
Life in the Wildlands is a nonprofit organization that offers vocational training and career development services for those seeking a federal conservation outdoor career. Our services include private individual career counseling, federal application assistance, and presentations on navigating the challenging federal hiring system to obtain specific conservation careers. The types of careers that this consulation will benefit (but not limited to):
 Wildland Fire
 Recreation Management Professionals
 Wildlife & Fisheries Technicians
 Forestry Technicians
 National Park Service Rangers
 Miscellaneous careers in a federal public land management agency
Consultations must be scheduled in advance by registering for this organization's CampusGroup consultation event and selecting an available time slot. Meet at the check-in table in front of Bishop Barnwell in the Student Union Building to get connected with your personal consultant.
