Dr. Saptarshi Das, a leading expert in materials science, is presenting on the future of computing. His talk will cover how three-dimensional (3D) integration of two-dimensional (2D) materials can lead to breakthroughs in memory, logic, and bio-inspired computing.

Dr. Das's research explores how we can create more compact and energy-efficient electronic systems. He will show how his work draws inspiration from biology—like the auditory systems of barn owls and motion detection in locusts—to design circuits that are faster and more efficient for things like artificial intelligence and electronic warfare applications.

Join us on Friday, October 24, at 1:30 p.m. to learn how cutting-edge materials and bio-inspired design are shaping the next generation of electronics. Light refreshments will be provided.
