Tim Lowe is a retired educator from the Boise School District where he taught elementary students for 10 years and served as a school administrator for 24 years. While working in the Boise Schools, he also served in the Idaho Air National Guard and retired as a major in 2006. He is currently consulting with the Idaho Department of Education as a principal mentor for first and second year principals in the Treasure Valley (part of the Idaho Principal Mentor Project) and advises the Institute of Educational Leadership on leading Community Schools. He will resume teaching in the College of Educational Leadership, Research & Technology in January 2026.
