About Us

Phi Sigma Rho is a sorority for women and nonbinary people in STEM majors. We are a group of women who want to succeed academically but are also interested in the social aspects of a traditional sorority. In other words, its the best mix of school and sorority life for women in engineering and technical science majors. We have fun activities such as social events and a retreat each semester where we bond over our shared love and stress of our chosen majors. Fill out our interest form: https://forms.gle/krDuBjfBwnEQr94TA Eligible majors or minors include Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Material Science Engineering, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering and Physics! Eligible minors include Astronomy and Biomechanics. Please email us at phisigmarho@boisestate.edu if you think your STEM major/minor should be included!

  • F.A.Q.s

    Q: When are recruitment events?

There is one info session and 3 recruitment events each semester. These are typically set by the first week of classes and will be published on this website and posted on social media when available.

Q: How Much Does it Cost to be Apart of Phi Rho?

Each semester our executive board meets and decides the dues each members pays. These dues cover all funds required to go to any of our events, national dues and help us perform our semester philanthropy. While many sorority can cost close to 1,000 dollars, or even more just in a year, Phi Sigma Rho prides its self on being an affordable way to experience Greek Life. Due to slight changes in dues each semester, we ask that you contact us to ask the current dues for active and candidate members.
