Phi Sigma Rho
We’re a STEM sorority for women and nonbinary students that provides community, support, and connection as we navigate rigorous majors together. Our sorority is unique from other sororities because we have made it our goal to make sorority life more accessible for students in STEM by lowering time and financial requirements. We work with our member's schedules to hold social events, formals, retreats and more!
Please email us at phisigmarho@boisestate.edu if you think your STEM major/minor should be included or if you have any questions!

Since our sorority has a stem-focus at its core, we have a major requirement.

Please email us at phisigmarho@boisestate.edu if you think your STEM major/minor should be included!
F.A.Q.s
Q: When are recruitment events?
There are 3 recruitment events each semester. These are typically set by the first week of classes and will be published on this website and posted on social media when available.
Fall 2025's recruitment events are
Event 1: Sept 3rd MEC 201
Event 2: Sept 9th ILC 304
Event 3: Sept 12th SUB Trueblood Room
All events at 6pm
Q: How Much Does it Cost to be Apart of Phi Rho?
Each semester our chapter votes on the dues each members pays. These dues cover all funds required to go to any of our events, apparel, and philanthropy. Phi Sigma Rho prides its self on being an affordable way to experience Greek Life. Due to slight changes in dues each semester, we ask that you contact us to ask the current dues for active and candidate members.
Q: What is the Time Commitment Like?
While time commitment varies through out the semester, we have made it a goal to keep requirements low for our members so they can enjoy their time in the sorority and see Phi Rho as a place to destress from their time consuming and strenuous majors! While some weeks have as little as a hour per week commitment, others have bigger commitments. Email or DM us if you'd like to chat more about what these commitments entail!
