The Hemingway Center Reading Series and Creative Writing MFA Program present poet Oli Hazzard. Hazzard, whose work John Ashbery called “exciting, necessary, and new," will give a reading of his work on Friday, October 23, 2026 at 7:30 PM. This event is free and open to the public.

About Oli Hazzard

Oli Hazzard is the author of three books of poems, including most recently Sleepers Awake (Farrar, Straus and Giroux, 2025). He teaches poetry at the University of St Andrews, and is currently Elizabeth S. and Richard M. Cashin Fellow at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Studes at Harvard University.
