Boise State Annual Spook-tacular concert!
Wednesday, October 28, 2026
7:30 PM
Morrison Center for the Performing Arts, Boise
Costumes, drama, and a little musical mischief return to the Morrison Center as the Boise State University Symphony Orchestra presents its annual Hallowen Spook-tacular! This year's Of Stage and Screen brings together music from the opera house and the silver screen, from Offenbach’s spirited Orpheus in the Underworld and the exotic Bacchanale from Saint-Saëns’ Samson and Delilah to the unmistakable sounds of John Williams.
The concert features 2026 Concerto-Aria Competition winner Eliot DeHaven, baritone, performing arias by Mozart and Gounod, along with faculty saxophonist Matthew Castner in Williams' jazz-infused Escapades from Catch Me If You Can. The evening concludes with A Tribute to John Williams, celebrating some of the legendary composer's most memorable music for the movies.
Join us Wednesday, October 28 at 7:30 PM in the Morrison Center Main Hall for a Halloween evening where the stage meets the screen—and costumes are most definitely welcome
