Hey friends. I feel more than blessed to have been able to be part of the formation of this human rights based student club and to have held the leadership position of President since 2024. This Spring I am entering my final semester of an accelarated Masters in Social Work and don't feel that I will have the time or capacity to plan and lead the club in the way I would like to. Because of this I have decided to step down as president to make space for someone to come in with fresh ideas and plans. I will support you and assist as much as I can and the rest of the officer team is made up of amazing human beings so you will be joining the cream of the crop of human rights oriented students here at Boise State.

1. President - Role of the President Presides at all meeting of the organization. Obtains appropriate facilities for organization activities. Prepares and files any report required including meeting minutes. Completes Student Organization Required Training. Represents the organization at official functions. Maintains contact with organization advisor and Wassmuth Center staff. Remains fair and impartial during organization decision making processes. Plans, delegates, and evaluates set goals and creates ideas, tone and direction for the organization. Understands and educates organization members to adhere to campus and organizational regulations, mediating any conflicts within the organization.
