Mission
Upstander nation is the only human rights student club that is open to ALL members of the Boise State Campus with no exclusions. We are also affiliated with the Wassmuth Center for human rights and the Marilyn Shuler Human Rights Initiative. Our mission is to encourage upstander behavior and create a kind, inclusive and supportive community at Boise State that can ripple out into our local and global communities as well.

Membership Benefits
Opportunity to become a docent for the Anne Frank Memorial (cared for by Wassmuth Center for Human Rights). Opportunity to connect with other young people who participate in youth leadership at the Center and to work with board members of the Marilyn Shuler Human Rights Initiative. Opportunity to help create and support campaigns around campus to increase our positive social interactions with all members of campus life.
