The Boise Vida Volunteer Club is dedicated to partnering with Vida Volunteer and local communities in Costa Rica to provide compassionate, sustainable medical care while fostering cultural humility and global health awareness. Through hands-on service and collaboration with healthcare professionals, we aim to bridge healthcare gaps, promote health education, and inspire our members to grow as empathetic leaders and future healthcare providers committed to equity and service.

Boise Vida Volunteer is committed to serving rural communities in Costa Rica through service learning trips. While in Costa Rica, undergraduate students will be working alongside local physicians, dentists, and veterinarians to provide medical attention in underserved communities.
VIDA Volunteer is a nonprofit organization that coordinates service-learning trips for students and volunteers in the fields of medicine, dentistry, and veterinary medicine throughout Central America, including Costa Rica and Guatemala. The program focuses on providing free healthcare and education to underserved communities through mobile clinics while offering volunteers hands-on experience, professional mentorship, and cultural immersion. VIDA’s mission is to create sustainable community impact by partnering with local leaders and empowering both participants and residents through compassionate, skill-based service.
