Boise Vida Volunteer PonyUp Campaign

The PonyUp fundraiser will support our VIDA Medical club as we prepare for our upcoming international service trip to Costa Rica, where we’ll be bringing a medical, veterinary, and dental team to serve underserved communities. The funds we raise will go directly toward travel expenses, essential medical and veterinary supplies, and the public health resources we need to provide safe and effective care. This includes helping cover transportation for student volunteers, purchasing first-aid and hygiene materials for patient care kits, and securing the basic clinic tools, medications, and animal-care supplies we’ll use throughout the trip.

While in Costa Rica, our volunteers will help run mobile clinics, provide preventative care education, support basic medical and dental screenings, and assist with veterinary care for local animals. Our goal is not only to offer immediate support, but also to empower community members with knowledge and resources that can continue to benefit them long after we leave.

By contributing to this campaign, donors are helping us reach more patients and animals, strengthen community health, and create a meaningful, lasting impact. Your support directly fuels both the communities we serve and the next generation of healthcare professionals gaining real-world experience in compassion, service, and global health.
