Catering Exemption Request Form

Boise State University partners exclusively with Carved and Craved for on-campus catering. If you are considering an external catering provider, please review the requirements below to see if an exemption is necessary for your event.

Do You Need to Complete This Form?

Internal Groups (University Departments & Student Organizations):

• Events under $2,000: You do not need to submit this form. However, you must ensure you are using a BSU Approved Caterer (link to your website).

• Events $2,000 and above: You must reach out to Craved and Crafted catering first. If they are unable to complete your request, you will need to complete this form to request an exemption.

External Groups & All Other Events:

• You must reach out to Craved and Crafted catering first. If they are unable to complete your request, you will need to complete this form to request an exemption.

Submission Guidelines

• Deadline: This form must be submitted at least four (4) weeks prior to your event date. Late submissions may result in an automatic denial.

• Review Time: Once submitted, our team will review your request and contact you with a decision within one (1) business week.

• Approval Criteria: Requests are evaluated based on food safety compliance, the uniqueness of the request, and alignment with university policies. Approval is not guaranteed.
