The Alpine Club is a group of Boise State students who like climbing, getting outside, and doing fun stuff with good people. We run student-led climbing days, trips, and events that are open to everyone, no experience needed. Show up, try it out, and meet people.

• Outdoor Climbing Days: Regular trips to places like Black Cliffs, Swan Falls, and beyond. Open to all skill levels.
• Learn by Doing: Pick up skills like belaying, anchor basics, and outdoor climbing just by showing up and climbing with others.
• Student-Led Trips: Opportunities to help plan and lead trips if you want to get more involved.
• Discounted Gym Nights: Access to discounted climbing nights at places like The Commons.
• Gear Sharing: Occasional access to shared gear (ropes, quickdraws, crash pads) depending on what the club has available.
• Trips & Bigger Events: Optional weekend trips and longer climbing trips when possible (Red Rocks, City of Rocks, etc.).

The mission statement of ALCSI shall be to promote awareness for lung cancer screening for individuals at high-risk of developing lung cancer at Boise State University and the larger local community through educational efforts, community outreach, and health literacy engagement. Activities may include advocating for Congress members to support a lung cancer bill, reforming lung cancer screening curriculum at local medical schools, presenting to various stakeholders to build awareness, and working with local health departments to bring actionable change to the local communities.

The Arabic language Group will be a group that helps with the Arabic language, explore Middle Eastern/Arab culture, play games, enjoy Arab food, and much more! We might also expand this to where we can speak at different high schools to promote the Arabic language at Boise State. We want a place for students to learn the language if the class that doesn't fit in their schedule, a place where they can have background knowledge about the language (experience).
