Written by Gordon Reinhart, the play is about an aged Shakespeare scholar who employs an AI device during his last lecture on King Lear, hoping to prove that AI can teach his class. If successful, Shakespeare remains in the curriculum, and the scholar can retire in peace, maybe with some royalty payments!? Doesn’t work out. As part of Treefort at Boise State, this reading is free and open to the public—no Treefort wristband required.
