Are you curious about how your colleagues are using AI in their courses? Are you not sure how to translate those ideas into your own teaching? The AI Studio Sessions combine inspiration from peers with dedicated working time to help you move from exploration to implementation.

In this session, CTL Student-Partners will share their firsthand experiences navigating AI at Boise State. Panelists will discuss how they and their peers are actually using AI tools, the kinds of AI guidance they’re hearing from (and/or wish they were hearing from) instructors, and their broader hopes and concerns for AI in higher education and beyond. You will gain actionable insights into how students interpret AI course policies and guidance, and you will leave with strategies to foster clearer communication around AI in your own teaching.

After participating in this session, you will be able to:
-Analyze discipline-specific AI integration examples for pedagogical alignment and effectiveness.
-Adapt AI-engaged innovations into a draft project or assignment for your own teaching context.
-Identify key student learning, assessment, and ethical considerations necessary for implementing AI-engaged projects.
-Connect with cross-disciplinary peers and CTL staff for ongoing consultation and collaboration.

Sessions are held in the CTL Learning Lounge (ILC-315) and via Zoom. If you're joining us in person, please bring a laptop and any course materials or assignment ideas you would like to work on during the studio portion. Sessions will run for one hour.

This is a hybrid event, offered both in person and online. Please note the address if you plan to attend in person, and the Zoom link if you plan to attend virtually. After registering for a hybrid workshop, you will have the option to add the event, which includes the Zoom link for the workshop, to your Google calendar. Also, you will receive a confirmation email of your registration that also includes the workshop link.
