Hello and Happy November!๐
Below are the ongoing and upcoming events to pay attention to across
Fraternity and Sorority Life this month.
November Breakthrough Meetings ๐ด
Here you will see the schedule of all the Breakthrough Meetings this month. You can have your members RSVP for the session which helps our coaches know how many people to prepare for!
If your officers for the Breakthrough area are unable to attend themselves feel free to send someone else who is specifically interested in that work for your chapter!
Rake Up Boise ๐
Student Involvement is teaming up with NeighborWorks Boise to host Rake Up Boise on Saturday, November 15, and we’d love for your chapter to be part of it!
Join campus and community volunteers as we rake yards for seniors, veterans, and disabled neighbors. This isn’t just about leaf cleanup. It’s a 40-year tradition of neighbors helping neighbors and one of the Northwest’s most beloved volunteer events. Whether your chapter signs up as a team or members register individually, we’d love to have you involved. Breakfast, rakes, and supplies will be provided for participants who register through Student Involvement.

Leadership Transitions ๐ง๐ป
One of the central parts of November and December is the Annual Fraternity and Sorority Leadership Transitions for most of our chapters.* As new officers transition into chapter leadership they will need to participate in the re-registration, leadership training, and roster review as part of the process.
The process will open on Wednesday, November 5 when more information will be communicated about the process
You can go to the Leadership Transitions Website to prepare for the process.
*Note: Chapters that are not undergoing Leadership Transition this semester will still need to finalize their roster portion of the process this fall.
SAVE THE DATE - FSL Summit ๐
The LARGEST Fraternity and Sorority Leadership program at Boise State is just around the corner! Please save the date and tell your incoming officers about the details for the Fraternity and Sorority Life Summit below:
Date: Saturday and Sunday, January 24 & 25
Times, locations and registration links will be sent out in the coming weeks so you can get your chapter signed up to attend.
This year we will be welcoming back Gentry McCreary from Dyad Strategies who will present the findings from the Brotherhood and Sisterhood assessments that you all took this fall.
