"I am currently in my junior year studying Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Applied Mathematics. Last year I studied at Nanyang Technological University's department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering in Singapore. Since then I have gone on to become involved in the NEC as the club treasurer, and soon the president of the club. I hope to represent Boise State in this burgeoning field of research and connect students with the resources required to become involved with nuclear energy research and power production."
"I am a current junior here at Boise State University, studying Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. As an undergraduate research student within the Advanced Materials Laboratory, I have had the opportunity to witness research emphasizing nuclear enabling technology, which drives my passion in renewable energy. I have also had the opportunity to engage within naval nuclear propulsion. As your NEC financial officer, I look forward to growing our club and fostering interest within the nuclear energy industry."
"I am in my junior year at Boise State as an undergraduate in Material Science & Engineering, and I am the secretary of the Nuclear Energy Club. Currently, I am working on research being conducted in the Advanced Materials Laboratory here on campus. I have worked on multiple projects involving the characterization of uranium nitride nuclear fuel and the characterization of materials for use in the cladding and plumbing of nuclear reactors. My main focus right now is studying the effects of joule heating on nuclear thermocouples. I am interested in nuclear energy because it plays a significant role in our world’s future of sustainable energy."
