Re-Register Your Organization

Re-Registration Steps

Student Involvement will email the primary contact of each organization on July 1 with instructions for completing re-registration in CampusGroups. Club officers will not have access to registering events, submitting payment requests, or requesting ASBSU grant funds until all officers have completed the required Student Organization Officer Training Checklist.

Deadline to complete re-registration is Wednesday, September 17, 2025.

  • Step 1: Submit your re-registration form

Starting July 1, the existing primary contact of each organization can visit the groups list on boisestate.campusgroups.com and search for their organization’s name and click on the blue “Group Re-Registration” button to update your club’s page, officer list, and complete the re-registration form. If you are unsure who is listed as your organization's primary contact please reach out to getinvolved@boisestate.edu so we can update our records and grant re-registration access to the correct individual.

To complete the re-registration form you’ll need the following:

    • Basic information about your club and a logo – Most of this information is optional and can be updated at any time.
    • A list of your officers and their positions.
    • A faculty or staff advisor (optional for most organizations)
  • Step 2: Complete the required officer training

After you submit your re-registration, listed officers will be notified. They must accept their positions to complete the Student Organization Officer Training Checklist in CampusGroups.

The required annual officer training in CampusGroups includes a cumulative quiz at the end that must be successfully completed with 100%.

  • Step 3: Advisor confirmation

If you listed an advisor in the re-registration form, Student Involvement will send them an email asking them to complete a short Advisor Training Checklist, Clery Act Training, and Advisor Confirmation Form.

  • After Completion

When you’ve completed all the required steps, Student Involvement will approve your registration form and email you a confirmation that your organization is Active for 2025-2026.

Your organization will then be able to submit Event Registrations, Payment Requests, and ASBSU Grant Funding Requests.

Optionally, register for the Involvement Fair.

What if we miss the deadline?

The club re-registration deadline is September 17, 2025. If you did not complete all the requirements before the deadline your club’s status will be changed from “Active” to “Temporarily Inactive.”

What does “Temporarily Inactive” mean?

  • A club with a Temporarily Inactive status has not met or maintained the requirements to be an Active organization.
  • Temporarily Inactive organizations are not visible on the CampusGroups organization directory and can only be accessed by Student Involvement staff.
  • While Temporarily Inactive, the club will not be recognized by the university as a registered student organization and not be eligible for all associated benefits.

Can we still register?

Yes – groups who have missed the deadline will be able to register after a brief waiting period. Reach out to getinvolved@boisestate.edu to ask about next steps.
