HR Fundamentals - Payroll, Benefits and Time Away From Work

Need the answers without spending half your day in training? We've got you covered. The HR Operations team is excited to launch a brand-new HR Fundamentals Micro-Training Series – a collection of “just-in-time,” technical training sessions designed to get you the information you need, exactly when you need it.

We know your time is valuable. That's why each session is intentionally designed to do two things:

• Deliver the technical knowledge and practical expertise you need to confidently support Boise State employees in your role as a supervisor, business manager or HR liaison.
• Get you back to your work quickly – every session is 45 minutes or less, so you can build your skills without spending hours away from your desk.

Whether you need a refresher or are learning something new, these focused sessions will help you stay current on the essential processes and resources from our Payroll, Processing, Benefits, and Front Desk teams. This session covering PAYROLL, BENEFITS, AND TIME AWAY FROM WORK focuses on payroll deadlines, managing employee timecards and absences, understanding deductions, and guidelines for telecommuting employees.
